Ashorne  (sold March 2017)

A 1980's Merlin Mayflower 0-4-0 Steam Locomotive delivered to the Elmtree Line during March 2015.

Arriving in green livery (as shown in the pictures to the right) the locomotive was resprayed and lined out to resemble a Narrow Gauge Steam Locomotive called "Ashorne" that used to run at the Ashorne Hall Railway in Warwickshire between 1994-2003.

In late 2003 the railway ceased to operate and Ashorne was sold in 2005 to the Rudyard Lake Steam Railway near Leek, Staffordshire, where in the following years she was renamed "Pendragon" (see elsewhere on this site) and painted in a light green livery.

She is in regular service at this present time.
